The ** (Comment) statement is identical to the * (Comment) statement except that, when the ILF routine is listed (using the Print Technical Documentation option on the Doucmentation Tab in Application Design), a top-of-page is generated before the comment is listed.

Using the Statement

You can include ** (comment) statements anywhere in an ILF routine, including the beginning or end.

Restrictions

The ** (asterisks) must be in the first two positions of the keyword area.

Statement Ignored

Comments are ignored during execution.
